The Meeting
by Tessa LeBaron
The bench I painted has elements of flora and fauna, intermingled with insects and wildlife that are together in one art piece. I thought the title “The Meeting” would be fitting, with the idea of the upcycled bench to sit, meet and build community, reflecting on the idea of creating a more sustainable environment. I used a cool color palette to offer a calm space.

As an Artist in Cleveland, Ohio, I've created murals, logos and custom art for the past decade. My focus in my work has been on what nature has to offer us; things like growth, progression, and the cycle of life. I’d like for my illustrative style and use of vibrant color to depict a sense of contrast and tranquility. Most of my work examines how the environment can elicit a certain feeling with subjects intertwined with flora and fauna.
