The Dragonfly Sky

For this piece I chose to create an illustration that was inspired by my childhood memories of playing outside and watching the dragonflies fly around. Within those memories, I remember the dragonflies and their beautiful wings that would reflect the light back from all the colors of the sky. As the day would turn to night, seeing all the fireflies also light up the sky. I hope that my illustration from this experience will commemorate inspiration to those that also sit on this park bench will also get inspired to create more memories from.

is a Cleveland native and received her bachelor’s degree in illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Growing up in a diverse multicultural background, her artwork portrays themes of unity and togetherness alongside her love for nature.
